13 Roma activists received scholarships to pursue education and personal growth in various fields.

We proudly supported 13 Roma young women from various communities of the Odesa region on their path to self-realization through education. The participants come from Krasnosilska, Novoborysivska, and Liubashivska territorial communities, as well as from the cities of Pervomaisk and Odesa. They are pursuing different directions: from practical psychology and grant-writing school to permanent eyebrow makeup, English language courses, SMM, confectionery, and PC literacy. Some have already started their studies, while others are about to begin. The support includes not only tuition but also a comprehensive approach: psychological, legal, and mentoring support. Our goal is to help girls gain knowledge, increase economic stability, and find decent work. Together — for a stronger community! The initiative is part of the project “Program for sustainable development and self-realization of Roma women, teenagers and children in Odesa region” supported by HIAS and Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA).
