The Human Rights Center team held an important outreach meeting for 47 Romani women in the village of Korsuntsi.
During the event:
• Our lawyer and psychologist led two sessions: “Working on self-esteem, health, and stress resilience” and “Understanding gender-based violence: prevention and response.”
• Participants received one-on-one legal and psychological consultations on personal matters.
• Dignity kits were distributed, carefully prepared to meet the needs of women in difficult life situations.
Outcome:
The women expressed their gratitude for the support and emphasized the importance of such initiatives for their families and the wider community.
We remain committed to supporting women and building a safe, inclusive environment for all.
The event was part of the project “Program for Sustainable Development and Self-Realization of Romani Women, Teens, and Children of Odesa region” supported by HIAS in partnership with Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA).
