Recently, we organized an educational event for youth dedicated to learning about Romani culture, history, and traditions. The participants had the opportunity to explore the rich cultural heritage of the Romani people and gain a deeper understanding of their social and historical background.
During the event, we dived into the origins of Romani traditions, discussed important yet often overlooked historical facts, and reflected on the lessons of the past.
One of the highlights was the interactive segment, where participants created traditional Romani-style jewelry and took part in a quiz that tested their knowledge in a fun and engaging way.
The event was filled with music, creativity, and openness, creating a heartfelt and inspiring atmosphere. We truly believe that initiatives like this foster understanding of Romani culture, and promote mutual respect and inclusion across communities.
The event was made possible with the support of the European Endowment for Democracy (EED) — our sincere thanks to them.
Thank you to everyone who joined us — this was a meaningful step toward celebrating and preserving Romani culture.
