What happened?

We explored how local governments work and what levels of decision-making exist.

Trainer Denys Vlasenko helped us understand the structure of local self-government and shared effective tools for building partnership-based communication.

What did the program include?

  • Introduction to the basics of working with local authorities (LAs) and their role in society.

  • Learning key approaches for successful communication with government representatives.

  • Defining our organization’s priorities in cooperation with local authorities.

  • And of course — friendly discussions and delicious coffee ☕️

It was a productive day filled with learning, new ideas, and inspiration for future collaboration.

We truly believe: effective cooperation of civil society and local authorities is possible — all you need is a clear vision and openness to dialogue.

This event was made possible thanks to the support of the European Endowment for Democracy (EED).).
