Young Roma women stand and lead a discussion in front of a group of elderly women during a support workshop.
Roma women facilitate an awareness session for their community as part of a UN-backed support initiative in Odesa region.

We are implementing an important initiative focused on protecting and empowering Roma women and girls who have experienced or are at risk of gender-based violence.

The primary focus is on Roma communities in Odesa region, which require support and resilience in the context of full-scale war.

Our plans include:

• Outreach meetings in Roma communities — 5 awareness events with psychologists and lawyers, addressing gender-based violence, access to help, and mental resilience during war.

• Distribution of hygiene kits — practical assistance for women in difficult living conditions.

• Financial literacy and entrepreneurship trainings — to help Roma women and girls become financially independent and confident in their future.

• Stories of strength — short videos with real stories of Roma women and girls who have become examples of resilience, dignity, and self-realization.

This project is about trust, support, and community strength. About the belief that every woman has the right to be heard, protected, and successful.
